A great first day at #RIAAconf2024 with the Morningstar Sustainalytics team meeting with clients, peers and attending some great sessions including a keynote and panel discussion with Aware Super's Deanne Stewart who highlighted that the greatest challenge ahead will be access to #data particularly with the need to standardize ESG guidelines. Hosted by the Responsible Investment Association Australasia (RIAA), it was a fantastic opportunity to not only network with investors but navigate and better understand #esg. Morningstar were proud to participate in this week’s #GlobalVolunteerDays. In recognition of this year’s ‘sustainability’ theme, our teams helped sort and pack clothes for Thread Together and weed and compost at Pocket City Farms. We rolled up our sleeves for Clean Up Australia Ltd's Meadowbank while our Queensland and Victorian colleagues cleaned up Brisbane River and Yarra River. It was a great week, sharing experiences with each other as well as deepening our understanding of sustainability particularly in fashion and the environment. A big thanks to Krupa Bhana, Maria Iglesias, Christine St Anne, Richard Ates, Tom Cochran, Keith Hundt and Wellington Silva for supporting the team to ensure the week was a success!
