Episode details

Interviews by Naomi Christopher and Phil Thompson. This year’s International Women’s day theme was “Be Bold For Change” and AFA Inspire ran with this when they held their panel discussion last week at BT offices in Barangaroo. The group which fosters females in the advice industry brought a full room together to discuss gender equality in financial advice and financial services in general and came away with several things we as a community can do to encourage this. This week we had Deb Kent – the founder of Inspire coming on to chat to us about some of the discussion points as well as share what she thinks the financial advice sector can do to promote equality amongst both genders and increase the number of females both giving and receiving advice.
